Where To Find AQ Laptops in DMZ

AQ Laptop Locations are among DMZ players' FAQ.

DMZ Character Dropping In To Al Mazrah Activision

Finding and extracting rare, valuable and diverse items remains at the heart of Warzone’s DMZ mode. Some, naturally, are tougher to find than others. That’s certainly the case with AQ Laptops, an elusive items that players need to find in Season 4. Here’s where to find and how to get AQ Laptops in Warzone DMZ.

AQ Laptops Locations in Warzone DMZ

Warzone Season 4 introduced AQ Laptops, which players need to find and extract across various missions. Unsurprisingly, they’re small laptops but, unlike the typical ones that are easy to find across exclusion zones, they’re frustratingly elusive and tough to track down. We can help though.

First, it’s worth getting the bad news out the way: there are no set spawns for AQ Laptops in Warzone DMZ. This means there’s no precise location (a bag, cache, room etc) to visit that’ll guarantee you and your team an AQ Laptop.

There’s no way to escape the RNG element that accompanies finding items like this and it means it’s inevitable you’ll have to get your hands dirty and search.

Where Are AQ Laptops in Warzone DMZ?

Thankfully, we know a set location for the AQ Laptops in DMZ: the Koschei Complex. This is a fairly new area that was added with Season 3 Reloaded. It can be accessed via multiple entrances across Al Mazrah, each of which is detailed below.

It’s also worth exploring the areas of Al Mazrah from which you can access the Koschei Complex. Multiple players have reported finding them in Oasis: specifically in the caves that litter the desert POI. There’s also been reports of finding AQ Laptops in Rohan Oil, around the tunnel that takes players into the Complex.

In short, if you’re heading there to get to the Koschei Complex, you may as well have a scavenge around first. We’d recommend starting out at Rohan Oil and working your way north to Oasis and then east to Taraq Village. These are three entrances to the Complex in fairly close proximity. It means you can enter the Complex at any if you need to and will increase your chances of finding an AQ Laptop considerably.

Naturally, the spawn you’re given might make this harder, or necessitate that you go in a slightly different order.

Every Koschei Complex entrance on Al Mazrah is listed below and marked on the subsequent map:

  • Southwest of Oasis, underneath the desert ruins
  • South of Al Mazrah City, underneath the parking lot
  • Via the Taraq Road Bridge, east of Taraq Village
  • Rohan Oil Utility Tunnel, north of the tower area

Koschei Complex AQ Laptops

When you’ve reached the airlock that transports you to the Koschei Complex, ensure your entire team is inside. Any teammates who miss out won’t be taken to the Complex and will remain in Al Mazrah.

The Complex itself is a sprawling underground maze full of laboratories, radiation bunkers and high-tier loot. Unfortunately, it’s also patrolled by a huge number of AI. Many of these bots are heavily armored and difficult to take down. To make matters worse, they also employ tools like Sentry Guns to keep your hands off their belongings. Make sure, when you head into the Complex, you and your team have an abundance of armor, healing items and Gas Masks or Radiation Blockers.

In the Complex, you’ll want to loot everywhere you can find. The side rooms, radiation bunkers and Alpha Cluster have all yielded AQ Laptops in our experience. The image below shows one we found in the Defense Research Division, within one of the radiation bunkers.

In Koschei Complex, they’re most commonly found on the floor or on shelves, but players have reported finding them in Supply Crates and other loot boxes. Once you come across one, stow it in your backpack and get to your next objective (which might be searching for another laptop).

It might be worth taking Jumper Cables and Car Batteries too. These are required to jumpstart large doors that are blocking access to other areas of the Complex. They can be found in Gas Stations most frequently and will help you locate more AQ Laptops. They’re also needed for the Spetnaz Exposed mission too.

That’s all there is to know about finding AQ Laptops in Warzone DMZ. For everything else DMZ, stick with us at Twinfinite.
