Warzone Weapon Tier List: Best Meta Guns For Season 4

Ashika Island or Al Mazrah, here is the ultimate WZ2 weapon tier list.

Warzone Character with AR Activision

Warzone Season 4 is well underway and Season 4 Reloaded is approaching rapidly. We’ve reevealuated our Warzone weapon tier list based on Season 4’s changes, so read on to find out which guns you should be using – and how to use them.

Warzone Season 4 dropped back on June 14, bringing Vondel, a new DMZ Faction and an overall health increase from 100 base HP to 150.

When it came to the long awaited weapon buffs and nerfs, the changes were a lot fewer than we might have anticipated. The Cronen Squall battle rifle received another weakening while shotguns as a class were strengthened.

Warzone Season 4 Weapon Tier List

Even so, with nearly 70 guns for players to choose from, it can be very tough to know what to drop into the Warzone with. Thankfully, we can help.

Our favorite three weapons in Warzone right now are the Lachmann 556, M4 and Lachmann Sub. Each thrives where it’s supposed to and is good enough to hold its own at other ranges. We’ll detail the best builds for each further down but, first, it’s time to look at the tiers themselves.

The ISO Hemlock remains in B-Tier after a series of nerfs failed to completely decimate its TTK. The Cronen Squall joins it as a result of multiple nerfs, with the Bryson 890 also reaching the same tier after shotguns across the board were strengthened.

We’ve also dropped in the Tempus Razorback AR and ISO 45 SMG, the two new weapons that came with Season 4. The Razorback sits in B-Tier and we’ve now pushed the ISO up to S-Tier, with it already boasting one of the very best TTKs in the entire battle royale. It’s certainly one to keep an eye on as we approach Season 4 Reloaded, when we expect more weapon changes.

Warzone Best Weapons Right Now

With the Warzone weapon tier list in the books, we’re going to run through our picks for the best three weapons in WZ2 right now, offering a loadout for each.

M4

The classic CoD AR, perpetually popular in multiplayer and in MW2019, has stunned us all by reemerging as one of the best guns in the game. A great fire-rate, decent range and ease of use make it formidable in its current state:

  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mag
  • Stock: Tempus P80 Strike

Lachmann 556

The Lachmann 556 has been another interesting weapon to chart. It started as a mediocre weapon in Season 3 before its jack-of-all-trades status saw it fly up the rankings and become one of the most popular ARs in the BR. It excels at medium ranges, sure to drop enemies quickly and give users a refreshingly consistent weapon:

  • Muzzle: Harbinger D20
  • Barrel: 15.9″ Lachmann Rapp Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
  • Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mag

Lachmann Sub

The Lachmann Sub (MP5) retains its spot as the best SMG in the game, still holding off the Vaznev-9K and ISO 45 in our eyes. Its high fire-rate does mean there’s a bit of recoil to learn and combat, but it’s genuinely unmatched among SMGs when it comes to pure damage output. The best attachments are detailed below:

  • Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mags
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10

That rounds off the ultimate Warzone weapon tier list, as well as our picks for the best guns in Warzone Season 4 right now. Be sure to check out the related content below, which will guarantee even more success in MW2 and CoD’s battle royale!
