Cigar Boxes have become a sought after item in DMZ Season 4, with the small items integral to upgrading a number of features and completing mission objectives. Here, we’re showing you where to find Cigar Boxes in DMZ.
DMZ Cigar Box Locations
We’ll begin with the bad news: there don’t appear to be any specific spawn points for Cigar Boxes in DMZ Season 4. That means there isn’t a location we know players can head to and guarantee themselves one.
However, it’s not all bad news. Ashika Island regularly spawns Cigar Boxes across its POIs, with multiple players reporting that they found plenty in just a few deployments. Weirdly, Cigar Boxes are common in Medical Cabinets and First Aid Kit boxes. These are generally found on walls of buildings and in bathrooms.
We found two Cigar Boxes in one Medical Cabinet in a bathroom in Oganikku Farms. We also stumbled across one in a residential building in the Town Center.
They’re small boxes that are partially open and have an in-game value of $100. They’re integral to ranking up certain aspects of your Season 4 Active Duty Operator, like increasing Wallet and Contraband Stash sizes.
They are lootable on other exclusion zones, with reports of players finding them on Al Mazrah and Vondel. We haven’t found them on Vondel ourselves, but we have come across them in the following locations in Al Mazrah:
- Captain Silver’s Briefcase in the Sattiq Cave Complex (key required)
- Al Sharim Pass POI
It’s also worth looting areas that typically yield better loot, like Strongholds and Supply Drops. These will also offer rare items like Gold Skulls that are valuable (even if they’re not specifically what you’re after). Unfortunately, there’s no way to barter for Cigar Boxes in Warzone DMZ, so you can’t trade in unwanted loot for them like you can GPUs or other desired items.
