Where to Find GPUs in Warzone DMZ Season 4

GPUs for all your GPUing.

GPUs are a rare and valuable item in Warzone DMZ, with players tasked to find and extract them for a series of objectives, including unlocking a third insured weapon slot in the extraction mode. Here are the best places to find and loot GPUs in Warzone DMZ Season 4.

Guaranteed Warzone DMZ GPU Locations

We know of very few places where GPUs are guaranteed. There are a couple though. The Stage Bags on Vondel each drop a guaranteed GPU. Added with Warzone Season 4, the Amsterdam-inspired map introduced a huge number of keys into DMZ, each of which forms part of a wider change.

While most can only be used in one location, the Stage Bag Key opens two separate Stage Bags, each of which gives the opener a guaranteed GPU. The locations of the Stage Bags as are follows:

Vondel University Stage Bag

At the northwest of University in map grid E2. If players head towards the Castle they’ll find a small stage just before they reach the road at University’s west. At the back of this stage is a Duffel Bag. That’s what you’re after.

North Fire Department Stage Bag

The second is north of the Fire Department in Vondel’s west. This one’s in map grid C5, in a small rectangular building east of a Buy Station. It’s usually swarming with AI, so be careful heading over there without the necessary resources (armor, ammo and healing items).

Each of the Stage Bags will guarantee a GPU, so it’s possible you can acquire a couple in one deployment. If you need to unlock the Stage Bag Key there are a few ways to do so – we’ve broken them all down in the linked guide. The best way is via the Barista’s Bag (which requires the Barista’s Bag Key, we told you they formed a chain).

GPU Possible Locations

Those are believed to be the only guaranteed GPU locations in Warzone DMZ right now. There are others that players have reported though, so don’t lose hope if you’re struggling with Stage Bags. These are:

  • Chemical Storage Warehouse in Al Mazrah Al-Safwa Quarry
  • Weapon Lockers in Ashika Island Tsuki Castle
  • Sawah Crypto Mining Farm in Al Mazrah

None are 100% certain to drop a GPU but all can do, so it’s well worth checking in if you’re in the area.

Loot

Other than that, a good way to find GPUs is to loot exhaustively. As you play and complete mission and objectives, just ensure that you’re opening crates, chests and duffels as you play. You’ll stumble on some without a doubt, even if they’re not all that frequent.

Supply Drops are also a good way to acquire GPUs. They’re not guaranteed to spawn in drops, but the high-value crates frequently drop rare items like Gold Skulls and GPUs. Just be wary of foes as you approach them.

GPU Barter Recipe

They’re also an item that you can barter for at Buy Stations. Unfortunately, they’re not a simple item to earn, requiring high value items to exchange. The current recipe for GPUs in Warzone is:

  • 2 Gold Bars
  • 5 Thumb Drives

The Gold Bars in particular are rare and high value. We recommend Strongholds and locked POIs (like Vondel’s Aquarium, City Hall etc) as these tend to dispense them. Thumb Drives are typically found in Computers, so ensure you’re looting these as you play as well.

Keep in mind that you will need to successfully Exfil with the item in your inventory, or else it won’t count for the Insured Slot upgrade. Additionally, Faction-missions can include GPUs as an assignment, so you can kill two birds with one stone by activating relevant tasks.

Now that you know where to find GPUs in DMZ, you can progress further in your rank by completing the PHALANX Faction’s Unarmed and Dangerous mission. Be sure to also explore the relevant links below to learn more tips and tricks for Call of Duty.
