It’s not a hugely complicated fight when you get used to it, but it is risky, and the average Fireteam will have a pretty good risk of getting wiped if they are not careful. Thankfully, there is no enrage mechanic, and while Ecthar may have a huge health bar, this really just boils down to being patient and keeping calm.

If you are well aware of your skill ceiling, as I am, you will know that the people who run variants of this build are able to churn through the toughest content because of their exceptionally nuanced understanding of the game’s mechanics, superb skill timing, and incredible ability to play games. That said, this build has gotten me through some things I never would have thought possible, so let’s get to it.

While it can be very difficult to get past the sheer powerhouse that Hunters can be on other subclasses, a solid Arc build can really get work done in Destiny 2 if you know how to put it together. This Shinobu’s Vow build is actually something I have been experimenting with for a while, and it can really pump out the damage right now in Destiny 2.

The reality is that the description of Shinobu’s Vow in the game is not doing it justice, and there are multiple benefits to using this Exotic, especially in combination with certain mods from the Season of the Deep artifact.

Destiny 2 players have been keeping a close eye on the Fallen Sunstar Exotic, with many people believing it would rise to prominence this season thanks to changes to the game. Season of the Deep has really supercharged this spikey helmet, allowing Arc Warlocks to make a name for themselves again.

With this build, we can take advantage of synergies between Aspects, Fragments, Exotics, and Mods to turn us into a moving generator, throwing out Arc damage, healing our allies, and surviving the kind of incoming damage that would have sent old Arc Warlocks to the respawn screen.

In Destiny 2, not all Titles are created equally, and any title associated with a Dungeon tends to be quite a lot of effort to get. The Ghoul Title that was introduced with the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon is definitely going to challenge a lot of players. We never really got a chance to take a proper look around here before, so it’s a wonderful experience to get off the beaten path. The first encounter involves disrupting a Hive ritual, so prepare to take on the chitinous hordes who are really not in the mood for your shenanigans right now.

The first piece of advice I can give here is that this will seem very confusing at first, but after a couple of cycles, you will quickly get the hang of it. Start by making your way down the path you spawn in on until you come to a massive door that is blocked by green Hive energy. All the main paths lead to this door, so you cannot miss it. You will notice two enemies near the door, and the encounter begins when you kill them, so prepare yourself for action. The entire time this encounter is ongoing, you’ll have groups of minor enemies that spawn in, so I am not going to mention them each time, just nuke them as they appear.

Bungie likes to mix up the offerings it gives players each season. For Season of the Deep, they are giving us a new Dungeon called Ghosts of the Deep. Like all Dungeons, it will allow three players to go in and take on a series of challenges, culminating in a final boss fight that is sure to shiver our timbers. And, of course, we will inevitably see those legends amongst Guardians who can handle the challenges presented on their own.

How to start the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon in Destiny 2

Starting the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon is easy, but you should be aware that this is not free content. Make sure you have access to the Lightfall Dungeon Key, and you can check that in the expansions tab in your store. If not, then you’ll need to purchase the Lightfall expansion or the Dungeon Key.

So, it seems that in the world of Destiny 2, it is more than living creatures that can be Taken. Weapons can be dragged into the inky blackness as well, and this is why we have the Targeted Redaction. This Void Hand Cannon is a 120 RPM, meaning it fires just a little slower, but hits a little harder. Right now, this thing is insanely overpowered in the hands of a Stasis Titans in The Crucible.

By combining the Collective Action perk with the ability to generate a lot of Stasis crystals, you can score easy two-taps. We are going to ignore that for our God Roll build, as it is something that Bungie are clearly going to fix, and we don’t want you to overinvest in something with a short shelf life.

All true Titans love punching things. I don’t make the rules, Shaxx does, and he seems pretty insistent that Destiny 2’s Titans should punch as many things as they can. Insurmountable Skullfort, the Exotic Titan Helmet, will allow Arc Titans to do just that, as well as providing some other benefits that will help you stay alive. Finally, it just looks cool, the most important factor for any Exotic in the game.

The main perk on the Skullfort is Transfusion Matrix. This means that kills with Arc melee abilities trigger health regeneration and restore melee energy. This is a huge amount of fun in less challenging content where melee kills are so easy to find, but it falters pretty hard in more difficult content.

The Heart of Inmost Light has been a fantastic Exotic option for Titans in Destiny 2 for quite some time. Despite the armor piece itself catching some nerfs, and changes to other build elements that many people felt weakened it overall, this chest armor offers Arc Titans a fantastic option right now.

The important thing to think about when building around The Heart of Inmost Light is that it allows players to become an ability and Super generating machine while keeping their weapon choices open enough to deal with anything that comes their way. Need to take something that can deal with lots of minor enemies? Not a problem. Forced into a dedicated Champion killing loadout? That’s fine. Either way, your overall gameplay loop will stay the same.

The Season of the Deep is underway, Guardians are swimming around the methane seas of Titan, and the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon is on the way. This season, we get a three-player Dungeon instead of a six-player Raid, offering people who struggle to get Raid teams together a means of taking on tougher Destiny 2 content and getting some glorious loot.
