There’s been a lot of hype recently regarding the Spider-Man video game series, thanks to the reveal of more teaser trailers and details for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PS5. Noticing this progression of the sequel has caused me to give some very uneasy side-eye to my copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4, which has sadly been sitting in my games cabinet unplayed from the day I first purchased it. Sarah’s Death

Anyone who has played The Last of Us will forever be heartbroken by the heavily emotional and traumatic scene that was Sarah’s death during the prologue of the story. Overwatch 2 has made an announcement recently that many players may not want to hear. Only a few short weeks from the devastating news that PvE would not be the same as promised during the original Overwatch 2 announcement, it seems PvE has continued to spiral downwards in the eyes of many players within the community. In an upsetting turn of events, Blizzard’s latest news post has indicated the missions of this game mode are set to be accessible only through purchase via real currency.

Overwatch 2’s PvE was initially advertised as one of the main reasons for the overhaul of the original game in favor of the sequel, taking a ‘player-focused standpoint’ and bringing a completely alternative story-based PvE game mode that everyone would have access to, due to Overwatch 2 being reworked and marketed as free to play.
