Much of the game, like Ultimate Team, Career Mode and official league licenses, will transition over. The exact shape of the title remains to be seen but, with its launch window approaching, leaks have started to find their way out into the public domain.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-ea-sports-fc-prices-allegedly-leaked\">EA Sports FC Prices Allegedly Leaked<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>July 6 saw a series of leaks relating to the game\u2019s launch price, which purportedly reveal that it will be more expensive than any FIFA installment. That means if you purchase the PS5 version, it should be playable on PS4 as well. The same applies to Xbox consoles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Typically, FIFA installments come in at around \u00a360 for the base Standard versions. While that\u2019s still true, the Ultimate Edition in particular has seen a \u00a310 \/ $10 \/ \u20ac10 increase, with the FIFA 23 Ultimate Editions for next generation consoles coming in at \u20ac99.99 \/ $99.99 \/ \u00a389.99.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There have been rumors of a week\u2019s early access with the Ultimate Edition of EAFC, but we\u2019ve not had that confirmed just yet. It\u2019s also worth taking these prices with a pinch of salt. They\u2019re leaks and not final &#8212; and won\u2019t be until EA make them official.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless, the news appeared to divide fans. Some were unhappy with the price rises, claiming that it\u2019s too expensive, even if it\u2019s a new series.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KFGFXx\/status\/1676963795237994499?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">One<\/a> said: \u201c$80 for Standard Edition\u2026 guess I am skipping this year\u201d.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IGL_Dean\/status\/1676962377177370627\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Another<\/a> echoed, saying: \u201c$110 is a joke for a game that doesn\u2019&#8217;t last longer than 8 months.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LfcGuks04\/status\/1676978109399048195?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Others<\/a> pointed out that the game is the first in a new series, which has presumably increased development costs. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Beanie199\/status\/1676956825953136645?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Some<\/a> also pointed to currency fluctuations, which have led to <a href=\"https:\/\/twinfinite.net\/news\/ea-quietly-increase-fifa-point-prices-ahead-of-ea-sports-fc-transition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EA pushing in-game currency prices up<\/a> as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s also the ability to get the game via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ea.com\/en-gb\/ea-play\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EA Play Pro<\/a>, EA\u2019s subscription service. It\u2019s not confirmed right now whether the game will be fully available for free via EA Play Pro.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturally, we\u2019ll have everything EAFC covered right here.
